A valuation should be a record, not an opinion
Dalio Voss was created to meet a specific, legislated moment. Under the Treasury Laws Amendment (Tax Reform No. 1) Act 2026, Australia's capital gains tax rules change for CGT events occurring on or after 1 July 2027, and a transitional reset means most private business owners will need a defensible market value pinned to 30 June 2027. There are far more owners who need one than there are valuers to prepare them.
The problem we set out to solve
Business valuation has long been slow, expensive and inconsistent, a bespoke exercise each time, hard to compare and harder to defend years later. That doesn't scale to a nationwide deadline. But the answer isn't to remove the expert; it's to remove the friction around the expert.
How we're different
The valuation number is produced by a deterministic, versioned, explainable engine, never a black box, and never an unreviewed model. Every figure records its inputs, method and assumptions so it can be reconstructed and defended. Then an independent qualified valuer reviews and signs it. The automation serves volume; the signature is the compliance moat, and we would never design it out.
Backed by TWIYO Group
Dalio Voss is a separately-branded business owned by TWIYO Group, an Australian advisory firm. We state that plainly rather than leaving it to be discovered, because an independence claim is only worth something when the relationships behind it are visible.
What we believe
Permanence. Authority. Precision. Independence. A valuation is an auditable record, a Dalio Voss, and it should survive scrutiny by the ATO or a court. That belief shapes everything, from the engine to the seal on the final report.
